Here is a great plugin which was meant for something else but ultimately will help you make money online.
This wordpress plugin is actually made for making announcements on the blog.
It adds a small ribbon image on the left or right of your blog, allowing you to link it to a page on your blog or an URL.
What it does?
- It adds a small ribbon (see left corner of this page ) to the left/right
- The image can be replaced with a customized one
- Can be linked to a URL
- Does not touch your CSS
- Easy to configure
How does it help you make money?
Simply, convert the ribbon to an Ad-spot on your site.
Replace the image with your advertiser’s logo/banner
Link it to the advertiser’s URL
Sell it off !
I’ve linked it to my “Advertisements” page so that a sponsor can pick it up.
Advantages

- The spot is highlighted more than anything else on the page.
- There’s no way a visitor is going to miss the ribbon.
