SEO Competition results

It’s been a long wait but I think it was worth it. I’m talking about the SEO competition announced in Jan end. There were a couple of entries, and it was interesting seeing the progress of how the ranks fluctuated. Some did not enroll on comments, but some jumped in and a few even contacted on email. Well, I have to pick one from the guys who entered the competition through comments.

Thanks to all the participants. Now, the problem is that there are two winners. Binny and Ashwin. Both are ranking number one for their own keywords. We’ll have to select through a poll as to who deserves it. Cat your vote so that either Binny or Ashwin get the $250 !
how do you determine that it is their efforts which had resulted in rank 1 or rank 18 for the selected keywords?
I would say that ManiKarthik and ManiKarthik.com are intelligent selection of keywords as they don’t have competition for them and they don’t have to do anything special i guess…the domain would automatically take care and for manikarthik seo it is dailyseo blog which ranks 1 and it may be due to your efforts and the age of that blog…
so i would give it to binny who has done the good selection and ranks the right site…
Binny cos his keyword has 2940 results. Ashwin’s has only 54.
I would have to suggest Binny. No, I am not at all biased about this
When I took up my keyword it was still ranking at #1.
Same goes for Binny – So, both of us haven’t done anything to particularly work towards ranking for the keywords.
If I win the contest, i will obviously re-invest the winnings back to another contest here on DSB.
