In fact, you can contact any Engineer from Google, chat to them and get your doubts and questions cleared in moments. Tomorrow the 22nd of October, at 9:00 am, Pacific Daylight Time (GMT -07:00, San Francisco) , Google is organizing the so-called “Google Webmaster Tricks and Treats” event where you can get your questions answered from a Google Engineer through the Google Moderator tool.
