With that in mind here are ten RSS feed manipulator plugins that if used in the right way with the right knowledge and creativity can do wonders. Increasing subscriber base and productivity are just two hints. At first look, most of these RSS feed plugins looks like normal ones but they can be put to good use with a little bit of creativity. Read through and you’ll agree.

1 – RSS FEEDS ON STEROIDS [ OZH ]

Using a convenient interface with real time preview, Better Feed will allow you to “add anything” below each entry in your RSS feed. It also brings back the ability to split your feed with “Read More” links, just like your blog posts. I found this one extremely flexible, so much that it enables you to embed anything to the feed.

2 – RSS FEEDS COPYRIGHT PLUGIN [ PC HERE ]

This is a wordpress plugin that will add a simple copyright notice at end of full text articles in your atom / RSS feed. A notice gets attached at the bottom of feed articles – “Copyright Year. BlogName. All Rights Reserved”. The BlogName is linked to your blog url..

3 – RSS FEED FOOTER PLUGIN [ JOOST DE VALK ]

This very simple WordPress plugin let’s you add an extra line of content to articles in your feed, defaulting to "Post from: " and then a link back to your blog, with your blog’s name as it’s anchor text.

4 – RSS FEED FOR CATEGORIES & TAGS [ MASHGET ]

WP More Feeds just simply generate more feed links for category page and tag page, you can call it Category Feed and Tag Feed. That will give the readers more choices.

5 – RSS FEED STATISTICS [ CHRISTOPHER FINKE ]

Feed Statistics is a plugin for WordPress blogs that tracks statistics for your RSS/Atom feeds, including the number of subscribers, which feed readers they’re using, which posts they’re viewing and which links they’re clicking on.

6 – RSS FEED STYLER [ DEV LOUNGE ]

Feed Styler enables you to keep your existing class and ID style declarations in your content, but allows a different style to be applied to the feed of that same content. No longer do feeds have to be stripped of style and color.

7 – RSS FEED AVATAR [ JEHY ]

Rss standard allows to add an image (avatar) for feed, and Atom also allows favicons for feeds. This plugins adds that to your feeds – it looks really cute in search results and subscriptions.

8 – FEEDBURNER FEED STATS [ JONATHAN WILDE ]

FeedBurner Feed Stats is a plugin that allows you to view your FeedBurner feed stats from inside of the WordPress admin interface. Stats for your feed can be viewed from the "Feed Stats" page in the "Dashboard" section of WordPress.

A wordpress plugin that will enable you to add related posts appear on your RSS feeds with relation to the category and the keywords used in the article.

10 – EXCLUSIVE CONTENT IN RSS [ MOHD ATIF]

This plugin allows you to add exclusive content to RSS feeds so that users have to subscribe to your feeds to view the content. Only RSS subscribers can see the content. Helps you increase your RSS Reader base.
