Google PageRank update – December 31st 2008

Looks like my prediction on Google PageRank was right. I had predicted it for December last. – Jan mid. 
I could see a Google Page Rank (toolbar) update on few of my blogs, just minutes earlier. Last time it was in September, so three months down, I think it’s happening. (No change in DailySEOblog PR yet.)
No official news from Google yet, but the toolbar page rank update is happening right now. Check your blogs.
You can use these tools to check the Pagerank.

Matt Cutts has just confirmed on Twitter that there’s been a Toolbar Page Rank update today.
I too have seen a jump in PR – just noticed it today – jumped to a PR6. Thanks for confirming the update.

Oh, Google might be giving the Page Rank update as a New Year Gift to the bloggers.
I am gonna check my rank right away.
You had promised that 10 PR5 backlinks are better than 100 PR2 backlinks. Let me see that..lol

Is Google Updatting the top PR sites First and the zero pr sites last..?
BTW, I never noticed that your PR was 3. I assumed it to be 5. That means traffic and RSS are not related to PR.. na.?
Also, I didnt have any change in my PR. I think I will need more backlinks than just 6 good ones.
I have: 1 PR6, 1 PR 5, 4 Pr 3. my PR is still zero.

BTW, I have some happy news there.
My blogspot blog with no appreciable backlinks just got PR2. Now i know that PR is not so important.
Its the search querie that returns the right results, not the PR.

I had got PR3 for my blog now.Your posts about google and PR helped me to customize my blog for this.I was not getting the PR before, because of the paid links on my blog….(i thinks)
Yup, there has definitely been a PR update! Mine has gone from PR5 to PR6. Awesome xmas gift indeed!
I’ve been waiting and waiting for ours to go up, but no luck! Though some of our ‘inner’ pages have gone from 0 to 2 so not all bad i guess!
I do not know if Google updates the pagerank, but I already has over 1 years with a PR4, every time Google does not put it more difficult to attract visitors to our site, Google wants all the web traffic for them, is not just be left to compete and I am trying to get by with Google Adsense.Pero really earn a pittance if you have it 5 to attract more visitors.

What do you do to predict the update dates?
I do not think it is possible to predict a lot of the stuff big G does. However it seems there is a bit of inflation in PR these days.
