Traffic stats for November

Share

November saw a flurry of activity on DailySEOblog. The stats (Awstats) show that November gave the best ever traffic on DSB. I think I must attribute it to the New theme release and the AJAXed comments feature.

There have been a triple fold rise in the number of comments and new users showing up on comments. I know for a fact that there are many passive readers out there on RSS readers who are fans of DSB. When I go to blogcamps, there are more “strangers” who come up to me to show their love and affection. I’m glad that more and more of those lovely fans are now on the comments.

November-stats

November shows improvements in these areas
- Increased new visits and users
- Increased comments
- Traffic best ever (931947 hits)

Areas to improve
- More posts..more posts. I’ve been tied up with assignments lately, but I have a steady schedule lined up with ample time allocated daily for posting. Yay !

Readers, thanks for your support and encouragement and keep those questions coming in on comments, I just love answering them.

  2. Hi

    Hi ,
This is awesome. Did your awstats matching with Google Analytics?

  3. the stats looks pretty good. Congrats on that Mani :)

What i have seen now-a-days from web site owners and bloggers is that there are not ready to accept new comments on their blogs if their PR is high. I guess they seems to be worried, allowing comments on the websites may decrease their PR. But what i feel is that welcoming comments on blogs are always a good idea as they help to know what your visitors say about your postings. And to the visitors i say its good to leave comments on postings as it helps the fellow posters what we are looking from them.

  4. Keep zooming ahead.

  5. Do you get the same stats in Google Analytics, My stats in Awstats show very much higher than Analytics.

Kishore and Noel, Yea AWstats figures are always higher than the Analytics figures. But I can see that the ratio and the growth is the same. Analytics shows me 22,409 Unique visits, while AWstats shows 28,215. So clearly there is a difference.

I think AWSTATS are not accurate. May be am wrong! Mani let us know your comparison of Google analytics and AW

  10. AWStats is not accurate. It counts spiders and crawlers as pageviews. Try Omniture.
