Good tips!

I look at this issue from another angle.

Since 99% of the theme users, won’t change the H-Tags, that gives the 1% a small (easy) advantage to SEO the same exact theme.

So, look at this as a favor to you, that the theme designer doesn’t SEO the theme from the start.

I mean really how long does it take, to search/replace an H-Tag?

You realize most of the Blogger templates are the same way (lack of SEO)! lol

normally when we talk about the tag, you have to very carefully on putting seo tag.

i spent a lot of time to figure out this.

last week i changed my blog theme, earlier all my new posts indexed in google within 30 minutes, now no indexing , any solutions. is that the theme issue.

Great tips. I always found that many themes do not optimize for the search engine which is not good. I think theme creator should learn some basic thing about SEO.

I use the Firebug plugin to checkup these things even before I download any theme. With firebig, you can instantly know from the theme demo page the page structure,
