These things just keep getting better everyday. And I love experimenting with new SEO tools. Thanks to all who post them on email and comments, nothing like testing a new SEO tool first hand !
As a matter of fact, I hate those tools which take a lot of time to load up and show results. Here is a new one that I found really very interesting.
Its sharp, its effective , loads on AJAX partially and is clean and quick. Just like how I like ‘em.
Well, this one’s a general website health analyzer tool called PageBoss. And this is what it does.
- Checks Google Page Rank
- Checks the number of backlinks
- Checks the number of indexed pages
- Checks for Google directory presence
- Checks for Google Trends presence
- Checks whether Google Analytics implemented or not
- Yahoo backlinks, Indexed pages, Directory and Buzz
- MSN Live backlinks and indexed pages
- All the Alexa stats including ranks, page load time, popular regions etc
- DMOZ records
- Technorati Ranks and Backlinks
- Delicious submissions, Quantcast
- W3C Validation
- Twitter links data and
- Wayback Machine data
And though these data are available on other seo tools like the SEO Quake plugin, the good thing is that the layout and UI is great, and there is no information clutter. Ajaxified drop down menus make it easy to check the relevant information that matters to you. Sweet !

Thanks for this post.By the way I tried the validator I got approx 17 errors and 2 warning.I dont know how to resolve the same.
Also I checked many other established sites, same problems there are many errors.Can you throw some light on this issue.

The W3c ones are really tough to crack though Ive seen css gurus fail at it repeatedly.

Hey Mani! Nice tip indeed. SEO Quake can be abit daunting with all the info in its toolbar, but the interface of this PageBoss software really does it for me. Definitely worth bookmarking and exploring further.
Definitely one to add to my list of SEO Tips and SEO Tools! The drop down menus work for me, I must say! And the major SEO parameters are all coverd. Great stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!
