2009 Google Page Rank updates – Nothing official yet

Though there has been no official declaration, many websites have been reporting a change in their toolbar PR, as of April 2nd, 2009 almost exactly three months after the last pagerank update in Dec 2008.
Looks like Google is now following a predictable pattern with its toolbar Page Rank updates.
DSB has no change in PR, and is still on PR 3. Have your site changed in its toolbar PR ?

Does toolbar pagerank even matter these days other than an ego booster?
you have sitelinks with a PR3 blog, however there are PR4 and PR5 blogs that still dont.
Or do sitelinks depend on something totally diff?

Though there was no official declaration on google PR, it is happening from 27th and I have seen some drastic ups in the PR. My blog was 0, though it was two months, got up to PR3 which was a great gift. Google Tool bar pr does take some time to get synced as you may know that Matt Cutts once said that it will take some time to export the results to the tool bar. I will be posting one on this and not today as I am so tired after a trip from Bangalore to Cochin.. Keep up your good works…

one of my site dropped from its PR. Previously it was 4 and now its 3. I don’t know y it has dropped from its pr. The weights between page rank updates r so frustrating, but so great when a page rank 0 so becomes a page rank 3 over night, but you can track you progress much more closely on page with the web master tools, it would be nice if those tools gave it to you in the same 0 to 10 though.

Yes, it appears that Google is updating their page rank more regularly. Although that is the public page rank. The actual page rank is calculated almost instantly.
