Google, eat that !
Yahoo took the first step to help us find images online that are re-usable. Now next time, we need an image to add to a blog post, its worth trying Yahoo Image search because it now will show us the creative commons license for the images, and allows us to search with the filter on.
I’m sure this will make life simpler for a lot of folks, who at the moment have to either goto flickr or contact the photographer to check for the re-use rights.

You’re right Simon, while the filter is on, only images from Flickr are supported currently. But there is a nifty filter to the left side of CC filter which you can use to search images within or elsewhere of Flickr. This is not functional yet. May be they’ll soon get it running.
