Was tracking down my referral stats to find this interesting URL. Take a look and see what you can make from it.
This is what I see.
- Either Google doesn’t want to accept “bing”.
- Or Google is so confident that it will buy Twitter soon.
(P.S – I found this kinda funny.)

It’s funny dude. In my opinion. There won’t be a big/ dramatic change even if Google bought Twitter.

I won’t be supprise if Google buying Twitter, however I still have not see how Twitter can make money (beside they integrated with Adsense)? Youtube until today still dont get the ROI.

The proof is in the returned search results, it seems! It would make a lot of sense for Google to be interested in twitter, but I hope they stay independent. Competition is good, especially in the internet world.

I think google don’t want to accept BING. Now i think google is thinking that bing is competitor. so no more result serve for bing. Still gogle is great it’s showing bing result in search query. I love google.

It’s definitely a bit funny given the rumor going around about Google buying Twitter but I don’t see it anyway as an indication for Google actually planning to buy Twitter or having a rivalry against Bing and not considering the word in search results.
Google typically shows the suggestions when there is a possible misspelling and the suggestions are churned out based on the closest match of search queries that they see.
In this case Bing was launched in the beginning of June and might not have hit enough search count to convince Google of it s existence on the other hand Google Buying Twitter has been a big rumor that has been doing its rounds for long time now and Google must have got enough searches on similar lines. Both of these coming together results in Google interpreting “Google Bing Twitter” as “Google buying Twitter”.
Do a similar search now and you wont see the Google recommendation because now Google recognizes “Bing”

More and more people are starting to use Twitter to talk about brands in real time as they interact with them. This is why Google want Twitter as it would give them more traffic. Google bought Youtube for this same purpose. Google definitely doesnot sit on it’s laurels.
