SEO Tips Day 2 – SEO is Skeleton, Content – Muscles, Social Media – Physique
Okay, so we discussed the “Content is King” strategy yesterday. Today lets learn about this new concept of marriage between “SEO and Social Media”.
Search Engine Optimization and Social Media is complimentary to each other. I say this because, I’ve seen that they help each other get the results a website need.
Social media helps you get the traffic, you package the content / product well to reach your audience. Serve it and your audience relishes it. SEO on the other hand helps you reach out to your audience when they are looking for food. Its like a push and pull mechanism.
Social Media helps you “push” your articles/products/tools to your audience.
Search Engine Optimization helps you “pull” your audience towards you when they’re looking for you.
So, according to my thoughts, an ideal situation would be have a healthy body – by having a good skeletal system (SEO), built volume around it by developing good muscles (Content) and go do your regular work out at they gym, giving you a great physique (Social Media).
What are your thoughts ?

But mani…for some of my projects..i gave more and more backlinks…bt it will not come…….sometime i give less back links it comes in the first….. i dnt the reason…
I hope it will be cleared by going through your blog for the 30 days….
@gayathri i too come across the same, to my opinion it’s based on the keyword competetion. For lesser competetive ones it’s good enough to have less backlinks with great skeletal system, muscles and physique. If you focus on higher competetive KW then quality and quantity backlinks are considered.

Well written post and yes social media is very essential if we want to showcase our services & products to larger audience. But do you think we can convert a user into consumer through social media strategy. Because I haven’t heard of anything like through facebook, twitter or any other social media someone got any conversion. What you say Mani? Have you got any clients through social media?

I remember this tip from BlogCamp Kerala. You had said, the theme is the framework on which you build your site. Spending time on optimizing one’s theme is well worth it, its a one time job (forgive the tweaks there after)

I kind of agree with you Mani, but it I don’t think the emphasis is on social media at this stage. Nice analogy though, but I think updating a site is as important as social media.
