StumbleUpon gets a makeover – Gets cool new features !

This was a much needed one. A make over for the most loved, noise free social media channel available today – StumbleUpon.
StumbleUpon announced its new version today, you can see & switch to it over here.
The new version has a more elegant interface, and a bunch of new features like social sharing buttons and search facilities integrated.
One of the prominent change is the number of views that shows up near each story. I don’t really know if it was available at a glance earlier, but now, when you log in to your dashboard (or each story), you get to see how many times the article was seen. Pretty cool.
Also, now when you review a site you can share it on facebook/twitter.
You can also search for stories in everyone’s favorites, your favorites or your friends favorites. Here is a snapshot of the old v/s new interface.
That was a cool one. I was expecting such a one for long time. In fact I am one of fans of Stumble Upon as it helps me to explore and discover me new things in a pretty easy way.

StumbleUpon was my first experience of social media, and I am still an active user. It really offers value beyond anything out there, and for the hardened internet addict it is a must have in order to get a fresh kick that search engines can’t deliver. Long live SU!
