Google PageRank Update 2009 December is happening as I write this

Quick nudge to all. Looks like there is a Google Toolbar PageRank update happening right now, as there are confirmed reports since yesterday on certain data centres. I’ve seen page rank updates on random websites, but even at this time, we have no confirmed reports from Google.
With this update, it makes me wonder why Google selects December 31st or New Year’s eve as the “selected time” ? Its random updations they say, but looks like the bots got a special affinity for the New Year’s Eve. 
Have you got a PageRank update this time ? Did you link building strategies work out ?
I can confirm the pagerank update on 30 december 2009. I was surprised to see my site jump from a 0 to 3.

My strategies appear to be working. My main domain moved up to 4, and about 12 pages got up to 3. I’m starting to feel the effects of internal linking taking hold since one of the PR3 pages is only a month old and has no external links pointing to it yet, but it is heavily linked to internally.
Hooray!
My blog jumped from Page Rank 1 to 3.

I already see my blog jumped from PR0 to PR2 and its just 45 days old, so my link building method does work :p

It’s new year gift to all of you
Surprisingly i got a PR of “2″ for one of my 1 month old blog.
my PR did not increase why because I did lots of link building….
anybody have idea about this
My Twitter blog stayed PR3, but then again, I didn’t really work to improve it.
I guess next PR update is in March then? I think they do it approximately every 3 months.
Anyway I just relaunched my old blog, can’t wait to see how my PR build will go.
I can not believe update is in place, and how much work has been done, 3-months will be sweating at 100%. Beginning of the year is not the best
I think it all depends on Google professionals only when to update their algorithms or not. I had seen some sites with updated PR’s after new year updations by Google.
no pr for me as yet. guess i’ve to do some hardcore seo for march-april.
i used to have pr2, don’t know what went wrong. now i have no pr. i guess i’ve been penalized for some reason.
