His works enjoy a broad popular appeal in the United States, where Rockwell is most famous for the cover illustrations of everyday life scenarios he created for The Saturday Evening Post magazine over more than four decades.” -Wikipedia
Did you spot it yet ?
What is this blog doing lately writing all useless posts found in official google blogs? Idiot.
How can one not spot this, dakkan.
Haha, wish if I knew who you were, so I could let you know.
Well Mani,
I found this quite interesting. There is an audience and keep up the nice work mate!
I even wondered what this doodle could mean and BANG! I have the answer!
Normal Rockwell was a great artist! I wish I had one of his original artworks.
Anyway, I just noticed you have 2 different domains for this site…?
I think that this was really nice of Google.Normal Rockwell was an amazing illustrator . A friend of mine send me an update on Twitter to check the home page of Google ( I often search straight from the Firefox search box ) . Thanks to Google my post about Normal Rockwell got almost 1000 views in a single day with word press stats showing 642 usage of Normal Rockwell`s name as a search string.
I think one of the major disadvantages of having the Google search bar is that I never actually go to Google.com to search for things. I missed it. blah.
