YouTube has once again proved to be one of the most successful platforms providing the most engaging user experiences on Social Media. We’ve seen it lately with the Expendables promotions and the Nintendo Wii virals earlier, but Tipp Ex, a correction fluid brand has embraced YouTube as its major marketing tool on social media and I must say – really pulled it off very well.
The viral video is actually a series of videos but starts with the one shown below which is titled “Man shoots bear”, where a hunter is seen attacked by a bear. The guy doesn’t shoot the bear but asks the question to you the user, with two clickable options. Based on what you select, kicks off a series of funny vides that are interactive and hilarious !
Tipp Ex’s brand is also used in the video in a non promotional way, and really makes it all the more enjoyable. Well, this just goes out to say that YouTube is probably the most successful and engaging platforms out there brands can embrace.
On another note, seeing more and more brands pick up the idea of custom YouTube channels is getting a bit boring, but hope as more people jump in, they’re gonna come up with newer ideas, and newer perspectives.
