Google Instant is fast but doesn’t improve search quality
Before we jump into conclusions, take a look at the search result. A simple search for “Google Instant” would not show up anything about Google Instant at all.
Google Instant is super fast and it takes the search experience to another level, and I agree to what Marissa Meyer said – Google Instant is a “New shift in Search”.
But I sincerely wish if they did something similar to the search results in improving them.
The reality is that while Google team worked on improving the search user experience, there is no improvement on the index part. So SEOwise there is no change at all in the way Google works.

Hey, it will be a perfect idea! I’ve tested this 10 minutes ago and I think it can speed up some searches for our PR pages.

Maybe because it was release only a few hours ago and the search volume is still low? Try again after a few days and it will show up. Dont make conclusions about the relevance of search results based on a single query.
There are certain aspects that have high effect with this new feature enabled. One such thing I have noticed is, the websites that rank in the instant results , as they are instantly shown, they will have a huge uplift in the number of impressions than they normally get. Don’t you agree?
This is the dumbest advancement I think google has come up with. It doses not get what I want until i key in all my requirements.
It’s same like the old Google, just some flash things are added.
Dear Mani, I am 100% agree with you as I realized the same thing is happening with so many key phrases and even with people who are following the Google with straight key phrases as it should be with yours suggested.
