Latest Internet Memes doing the rounds – Round Up
The interesting thing about memes are that they hit a huge spike on the popularity charts and before even realizing what they were, they vanish. But that’s the fun part of it. The sad part is that not all the time can you find where it all started.
The latest memes and viral concepts on the internet this week are here.
1. Leonardo Di Caprio Happy Strut
This meme involves a picture of Leonardo Di Caprio, walking in a happy mood, with something disastrous happening in the background. There are several images around the internet that shows Leo’s Happy strut with something disastrous in the background. Le’s face expression is obviously funny and the combination of something sad in the background and the “I don’t give a f***” attitude on Leo’s face is the whole idea about. Apparently the funny picture was taken during the shooting days of “Inception” . Here are some examples.

2. "Sometimes I Just Want To Copy Someone Else’s Status, Word For Word, And See If They Notice."
There was this bizzare viral thing happening where the same status update got copy-pasted over and over profiles for some strange reason. It all started with Twitter user Tim Waters (@tim_waters), a "freelance geo fella" per his Twitter bio of Leeds, U.K. , who tweeted the sentence at 10:42 a.m. EST. From then many copy-pasted the status for its self-referencing nature and it went viral, as confirmed on Tech Crunch.
3. Prancing Cera
This is a Photoshop meme based on a photograph taken by film director Edgar Wright of actor Cera, while in Norway. The image shows him jumping mid air among docks in a funny way. The image got photoshopped into many instances, where he’s seen jumping around things. Very similar to the Leo Strut meme. Here are some examples.
