Google rolls out “Panda” update to additional languages
Google today announced that it is under the process of rolling out its recent “Panda” update to additional language websites other than English.
Panda update gave additional algorithmic changes to Google’s search engine ranking factors making it easier for Google to figure out high-quality websites filtering out others. Google has been cleverly calling the Panda update as “High Quality Algorithm” instead of pet name Panda, for obvious reasons lately.

The topic is much discussed in the webmaster/seo community giving rise to arguments as to what is “high-quality” and if its generally acceptable or not. Many websites had reported huge decrease in traffic due to Panda update as well.
So, this time the update goes live to non English language websites. Would be interesting to know how it goes for them. Would there be traffic fluctuations or not and other questions will follow.
Yeah it seems like everytime Google comes up with something new, your hear tons of sites losing huge amounts of traffic. Sometimes it’s justified but other times you see good quality sites getting the Google slap. We’ll have to wait and see,
I see a lot of sites recovering from the Panda update now, is this because they have sorted out duplicate content issues or was it just a big warning from Google. Who knows but was interesting to watch and read everyone’s thoughts online.
